NOTRE DAME OF COTABATO
Humane. Excellence. Adaptive. Responsive. Transformative.

WORDS FROM THE GUIDANCE COUNSELOR
Greetings of peace! As we begin the 2016-2017 school year, the Guidance Department at Notre Dame of Cotabato would like to welcome back all our students from what was hopefully a healthy, restful, and productive summer. Additionally, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our incoming freshmen and transfer students. We are glad each of you has chosen Notre Dame of Cotabato and we look forward to working with all of you throughout the year.

The Guidance Department has undergone some slight changes, but our mission remains constant. We strive for excellence, and in doing so, we hope to provide your student with the help and support that will ensure their educational needs are met.
The philosophy of counseling at Notre Dame of Cotabato is based on the recognition of the dignity and worth of each student. Counseling is concerned with the individual, and his or her spiritual, educational, vocational, personal, and social needs. It is a continuous (grades 7-12) process within the school. We view counseling as a team effort which consists of counselors, administrators, teachers, support staff, parents and students.

Each student at Notre Dame of Cotabato is assigned a specific counselor. This is done in order to make the transition to high school as seamless as possible, as well as provide consistency throughout the years with any academic, social, moral, and emotional issues a student may encounter. Our counselor assignments are as follows:

•Night Shift Coordinator: Mrs. Amy Ade
•Day Shift Coordinator: Mr. Roland Ade

A student may be asked to meet with his her counselor for a variety of reasons including but not limited to the following:
